About the Position

SJR in Uppsala is looking for an experienced and driven support technician who wants to be a key player in our IT support team with assignments at one of our clients in Uppsala. You will work with both daily user support and more advanced technical tasks. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop, take responsibility, and contribute to improving our client's IT environment. This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at SJR as one of our valued consultants. The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible and last for about six months with a great possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

The work consists of providing user support and service via phone and servicedesk systems together with your colleagues in the team, as well as carrying out administrative tasks related to our client environment. The assignment is user-focused with an emphasis on first-line support. The work is largely performed on-site, but there is some room for remote work. Travel to other offices may occur.

Examples of tasks, technologies, and products at our client:

Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PCs, Windows, Office 365, and related technologies.
Handling IT support cases via multiple channels – phone and remote desktop.
Planning and managing the daily operations within the IT support team.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high service quality and effective solutions.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving in Windows and installed applications.
SCCM.
MSI packaging.
iOS and related products.
Management of mobile phones, subscriptions, and accessories.
Administration of devices in Intune.
Thin clients.
KVM solutions.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who:

Speaks and writes Swedish fluently.
Has a few years of documented experience in IT support.
Has worked with installation, troubleshooting, and management of PCs, Windows, and Office 365.
Is accustomed to providing support through multiple channels and can handle different types of user needs.
Has experience in leading and planning daily activities within an IT support team.
